How many clothes do we buy… and how many do we actually wear?
Fashion is a form of personal expression, but it can also have a significant impact on the planet. In this talk, we will reflect on consumption, waste, and the environmental impact of the textile sector, and explore circular economy approaches, new consumption models, and practical solutions to rethink the way we dress—without giving up on style.
On the occasion of Design Week at Giardini Pippa Bacca, we will discuss these topics with Giorgio Bagordo – Senior Expert, Plastic Programme at WWF Italia.
After the talk, participants will be able to join a Swap Party! Bring clothes you no longer wear and hand them in upon arrival. You will receive a ticket indicating the number of items delivered, and at the end of the event you will be able to choose the same number of pieces. Each participant can bring a maximum of three garments.
